Starburst Performers: A Professional Children's Theatre company based in Portsmouth. We create and present interactive shows and workshops for Schools, Theatres and local community events, and we can create bespoke performances on request!

Our Bespoke Productions & Workshops offer high quality interactive singing, dance & drama experience. Our productions & workshops focus on kindness, friendship and the emotional well being of our young audience members.

Over the past 2 years our Touring productions included ‘Unicorn School’, ‘Miss you at the Zoo’ and ‘Helpful Elf’. These shows communicated themes of Well-being, relationships and our role in the community.

Global Explorers 2023

Our NEW show for 2023 is ‘Global Explorers’; a tale of making new friends and the impact of climate change on our coastline. Join Flora the Explorer on a Magical adventure as she makes friends with a moody mermaid, a dozy dragon and a funny fairy!

While searching for her Grandmother’s treasure, Flora encounters 3 amazing creatures who have been harmed by “rubbish!” made by “Human Beens”! Flora uses her Imagination to save the creatures and create new things! How little things we do can make a big difference!

This production is about inspiring children to make positive environmental choices through the power of live performance in our school communities.

Unicorn School (PSHE key stage 1) 2021/2022

Main Themes: Self worth and value in each others differences. 4 new friends work together to face a challenge using their unique differences. Lockdown has given us an opportunity to appreciate our community and the different roles we have within it. We have worked together as a country to keep each other safe. Unicorn Schools explores how we can help each other through difficult times to find the rainbow.

The Helpful Elf - Christmas Production 2021/2022

Its Christmas eve and Maddie was sad to be sleeping on the blow up bed downstairs this year, but little did she know that Sugarplum the training Elf was helping to deliver the presents, and that meant this, would be the most fun Christmas eve ever!

In the event that circumstances beyond our control prevent sessions from running due to school or venue closures. We will not be able to offer any sort of refund for the missed sessions. As this is something completely out of yours and our control, and in fact, something which is being forced upon us in the case of public safety. We would, however, endeavour to do our best to replace missed sessions at the end of the term.

My staff and I are determined to try and continue the smooth running of Theatre Arts. We endeavour to continue provide your child with the best performing arts service.
